Podere Ristella was founded in the 40s by Ulisse Pagliai who, after a life devoted to sheep breeding, decided to integrate this trade with viticulture. In the 80s Ulisse’s son and his wife started to run the business, expanding it with new selected vineyards.
Since then, Podere Ristella has been growing new vine varieties, including international ones, aiming to produce high quality and single-varietal wines.
Podere Ristella has been looking for new local and international markets in order to present its products and its pristine and productive territory worldwide.
Currently the company owns 7ha of vineyard and produces about 50.000 bottles per year, including different types of wines: Vermentino, rosé, Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as red wines aged in barrique.
