Rigoli is in the middle of Cornia Valley, from the borders of the province Livorno and Grosseto to the south of Bolgheri, enclosed in the Ore Mountains of the Alta Maremma: a marvelous landscape with invaluable historical and archeological sites. A variety of important wines are firmly established in this area and can be found on the Etruscan Coast Wine and Olive Oil Road.

Since the 60s Rigoli has been producing wine for personal consumption.

During the 80s Rigoli improved the production to achieve the high standard of the DOC Val di Cornia wines, and in the 90s Rigoli increased both its vineyards and its grapevines portfolio.

Nowadays Rigoli has about 7ha of vineyards and 2ha of olive groves. The local micro-climate lets the grapes ripen perfectly and, as a result, Rigoli’s wines develop an extraordinary taste and character.

Today Rigoli is led by the founder, Nelusco Pini, and his sons, Edoardo and Niccolò, which work closely with Matura Group’s oenologist Leonardo Conti.
